This product is included free with the pro membership package. The Jazz Time 101 course was written with the beginning jazz drummer in mind, and is designed to help develop basic independence and accompanying skills between the snare and bass drum while keeping a steady pattern on the ride cymbal. This book is written at two levels. Level One; Play the patterns as written, left hand plays the line on the snare drum. Level Two; Play the patterns orchestrating the comping (short for accompanying) rhythm or line between the snare and toms. See pages 4 and 5 for suggestions. Practice all material with the bass tracks provided.
